EU capitals must put vanity aside in Russia dealings – Clegg

Commenting ahead of Monday’s extraordinary meeting of the European Council on the Georgian crisis, Liberal Democrat Leader, Nick Clegg – an EU-Russia negotiator in the mid-1990s – said: "For far too long, Vladimir Putin has succeeded in appealing to the vanity of European leaders."
